CLUEPUZZLE: Pyramid of the Sun - Hints and Solution

Dear puzzle friend!

Do you need a little help with the CLUEPUZZLE: Pyramid of the Sun? Under the tab "HINTS" you will find hints that will take you further.

To release the tray with the puzzle pieces, press the button with a small arrow on it, located on the puzzle tray, then push the Pyramid to the back, and lift it up. See Steps 1,2,3 below

Follow the stars.

Each of the four sides of the Pyramid is marked with a symbol of stars above the puzzle picture. Start with the Bird side marked with 1 star, and continue with the sides with 2,3 and 4 stars respectively (fish, labyrinth and Sun sides).

Complete the bird picture.

Can you find any moving parts on the bird side?

Simultaneously move both arrows to the sides.

If you do everything right, the eyes of the bird will "pop out" and the fish inside of the bird's amulet will be released. Push the fish down a bit to take it out.

If the eyes are not coming out when you move the arrows, you might need to gently hook the eyes with a finger.

Assemble the fish puzzle

If you rotate the handles in the center of the starfish and the manta ray fish, the symbols in the round windows will change. Can you find these symbols anywhere else?

Two of the symbols on the bird's eyes can also be found in the round holes beside the manta ray fish and the starfish.

Adjust the handle inside the starfish so that the symbol next to the star matches the one on the left eye of the bird. There are several symbols of this kind on the rotating wheel. To choose the right one, make sure the star image is complete.
Do the same for the manta ray fish so that the picture is complete and the symbol matches the one on the right eye of the bird.

Can you move any other part on this side now?

Take the fish, previously released from the bird's amulet on another side, and insert it into the slot on the fish side, then push it to the right. A key will be released.

Assemble the labyrinth puzzle picture. To complete the picture you will need to find the correct position for the moving handles, see the picture below.

Can you move any part on the labyrinth side now?

Push the arrow up. If you did everything right, you will be able to release the sun from under the puzzle picture.

Complete the picture with the heads

Complete the sun puzzle picture.

The central part on the sun side is rotating. It should be set in a certain position to activate the mechanism. Can you find a way to do this?

Cover the central rotating part with the wooden sun. Rotate it until the holes on the wooden sun and the symbols on the sun puzzle picture match.

When the element inside the sun is set correctly, you will be able to push the arrow down to release another key.

Solving the fish side has helped you release a key. Can you find a similar element somewhere else on the Pyramid?

You can find a similar key on the top of the Pyramid.

Adjust the central rotating part so that the key can be inserted into the slots.

Solving the sun side has helped you release this key. Can you find the wheel symbol from the key somewhere else on the Pyramid?

Find the wheel symbol between the sun and the labyrinth sides.

Push the key into the slot, so that the small movable part lifts up and an arrow-shaped hole can be seen.

Then rotate the central part on the top of the pyramid. The petals will open gorgeously and take you to the heart of the Pyramid!

Take out the wooden container and release the puzzle pieces from it. Some of them have symbols, can you relate them to the Pyramid?

Each symbol corresponds to one side of the Pyramid. The pieces with symbols should be placed in the order in which the sides of the pyramid are located: Bird, Fish, Turtle, Sun (counterclockwise)

Below you will find the quick solution of the CLUEPUZZLE: Pyramid of the Sun. Use it if you want to open the Cluebox without solving, for example to put a small present inside. If you only need a little help to move forward with your solution, use the "HINTS" tab instead.

To access the secret space without solving the pyramid, you will need to use a thin metal object. e.g.:

Sim card eject pin
Paper clip
Needle
A piece of metal wire

Warning: DO NOT use a plastic or wooden object as it can break and get stuck.

Find the corner on top of the pyramid with a wheel symbol.

In this corner, you will find a movable element with a small arrow-shaped hole in it. Thread a metal object through the arrow to lift the part up. Then, holding the movable element in the upper position, move any of the petals on top of the pyramid outward.

If you did everything right, all the petals will open simultaneously.

Pull out the lid.

You can now extract the container from inside the pyramid. Release the locking key and put a small present inside the container.

Closing the Pyramid

To close the pyramid, lock the container with a key as shown.

Place the container into the pyramid so that its rounded edge meets the rounded edge of the inside of the pyramid.

This is what the correct position of the container and the locking key looks like.

Close the lid of the Pyramid. Attention! When positioning the lid, make sure the arrow symbol on the lid is located close to the wheel symbol in the corner of the Pyramid. This is important for the solution of the Pyramid in the future.

While holding the movable part with the arrow-shaped hole upward, push one of the petals inward. This way, all petals will close.

Use this manual to reset the CLUEPUZZLE: Pyramid of the Sun

Put the QR-code puzzle back into the inner container. Put the key that keeps the pieces from falling out as shown (the key should end on the rounded side of the container).

Then put the container back into the pyramid. Make sure the rounded side of the container matches the rounded side of the inner cavity of the Pyramid.

This is what the correct position of the container and the locking key looks like.

Close the lid of the Pyramid. Attention! The arrow symbol on the lid must be located close to the wheel symbol in the corner of the Pyramid. This is important for the future attempts to solve the Pyramid by other players.

Make sure the movable part is in the upward position (push the key inward if it is not). Rotate the lid clockwise to close the petals of the Pyramid.

After closing the petals of the Pyramid, extract the key with the wheel symbol and the key from the top of the Pyramid.

On the sun side, pull the arrow down and put the key with the wheel symbol back into the Pyramid. Make sure the cavity of the key is facing down. After you have successfully inserted the key, move the wooden arrow up and rotate the central element to a random position.

Attention: If you have difficulties with this step, first cover the rotating element with the wooden sun figure to get it into the position required to open the Pyramid.

1. Make sure the arrow on the Labyrinth side is in the upward position.
2. Insert the wooden sun in the slot at the bottom of the labyrinth as shown
3. Pull the arrow down.

Attention: It is important to insert the sun so that two rays stick outward. It also needs to be pushed deep inside. In the correct position, two wooden legs are blocking the Sun from falling out.

Insert the key from the top of the Pyramid as shown.
Attention! The key is asymmetrical so there is only one correct way to put it inside!

Now you need to release the rotating wheels which you blocked while solving the puzzle. To do so, find the moving element underneath the fish side. Push the element up and while holding it like this, rotate the wheels of the manta ray fish and the star fish to bring them to a random position.

To reset the Bird side, push the eyes inward. Then, holding the eyes pushed, insert the little fish from the amulet into the slot and pull it up. If you do everything right, the side arrows will move towards the center to their initial position. See the video.
