CLUEPUZZLE: Record Player - Hints and Solution

Examine the box and find the compartment with the puzzle pieces.

Put the puzzle pieces together.

Pay attention to the rotation speed (revolutions per minute - RPM).

The rotation speed is indicated on the record label. Move the switch on the side of the box to the central position (next to "45").

Let's "listen" to the music!

Turn the outer circle of the record so that you can insert the tonearm needle into the hole on the record. Move the tonearm and insert the needle into the hole. The outer circle of the record can no longer be rotated.

Can you find the reflections on the vinyl record?

Rotate the central knob to align the reflections on the inner circle of the vinyl record with the reflections on the outer circle.

It's time to remove the vinyl record.

Return the tonearm to its original position to avoid breaking it. Pull the knob in the center to take off the record and open the box.

Below you will find a quick way to open the Record Player Cluepuzzle. Use it if you want to open the Cluepuzzle without solving, for example to put a small present inside. If you only need a little help, use the "HINTS" tab.

1. Set the switch on the side to the center position.

2. Position the disks on the box lid approximately as shown.

3. Pull the knob in the center to remove the lid and open the box.

Closing the Record Player

1. Rotate the disk to align the ledges on the sides as shown in the photo.

2. Insert the lid, making sure that the hollows on the box match the ledges on the disks (check the numbers in the photo). Fix the lid by rotating the inner and outer disks several times. The box is now closed.

3. Slide the switch on the side of the box to the upper- or lowermost position.

Use this manual to reset the CLUEPUZZLE: Record Player

1. Remove all puzzle pieces from the record player and put them away into the tray on the side.

2. Rotate the disk to align the ledges on the sides as shown in the photo.

3. Insert the lid, making sure that the hollows on the box match the ledges on the disks (check the numbers in the photo). Fix the lid by rotating the inner and outer disks several times. The box is now closed.

4. Slide the switch on the side of the box to the upper- or lowermost position.
